Illumina Genotyping
In our facility we process samples on several different types of Illumina technology.
- Infinium
- Human 1M Duo BeadChip
- Human 610 QUAD BeadChip
- GoldenGate/BeadXpress
With the Illumina technologies it is possible to genotype DNA for hundreds to over 1 million SNPS at a time. The GoldenGate/BeadXpress technologies are used to genotype samples for 96, 384, 768, or 1536 SNPs. For whole genome-wide genotyping the Infinium assay is used.
