Any questions should be directed to:

or 919-668-3657
Printing can be done for the following platforms:
1) DNA Oligos
2) cDNA (PCR products)
3) Protein or Antibodies
OLIGOS
General Info
Can be purchases by companies such as Operon and IDT. They must be submitted in 96 well or 384 well plates (such as Greiner, CoStar, Nunc, or Genetix Brands). No deep well 96 well plates will be accepted.
Amounts
Oligos should be dried down and should be 300 - 600 pmoles per well.
Transfer fees may apply (see transfer fees below under pricing).
cDNA
General Info
All samples must be dried down from water or submitted in 10 uls 3X SSC per well. If submitting in 10 uls 3X SSC, samples must be in 384 well plates.
Sample Preparation
We recommend clean up protocol such as:
Microarray PCR Purification Kit
Make sure cDNA is eluted in water.
Amount
Should be 1 - 2 ug per well.
Plate Types
Corning CoStar or Greiner brand 96 well plates (round bottom, not PCR type plate) or in Greiner 384 well plates cat # 784101.
Transfer fees may apply (see transfer fees below under pricing).
Protein or Antibodies
General Info
Samples should be submitted in 1X PBS (with option of adding 1% glycerol). Samples may be submitted in 1.5 ml tubes.
Suggested Slides
You must also provide the slides to print the arrays on. Whatman FAST slides with their appropriate assay chamber set ups are most highly recommended. Also, Perkin Elmer Hydrogel slides are another option.
Please contact Laura-Leigh about your project before submitting… this is a new service.
To Submit:
Fill out on-line submission form at:
https://osforms.duhs.duke.edu/
Register, go under New Submission, and fill out a PRINT REQUEST form. Please put the name of your array you would like to have on the slide labels in the "array name" section. There is also a large notes section if you want to add any extra info.
Once you fill out the complete submission form, you must hit "ADD" and then hit "SUBMIT" at the bottom of the page.
Submit Excel Spreadsheet for samples as follows:
You must submit an excel spreadsheet of your samples for the plate #, row, column, Unique ID, and Name (or Description).
If you are submitting Oligos, you can send us the excel spread sheet provided from the company.
If you are submitting cDNA, you will need to use the following template: FILE TEMPLATE FOR 96-Well Plate and 384-Well Plate.
