The LockSpray™ source of the Q-Tof Premier automates the acquisition of exact mass measured data. The benefit to you is the generation of information you can be confident in, be that an unambiguous elemental composition determination of a drug metabolite or the identification of a low abundance protein from a complex mixture.
NanoLockSpray Source The unique design of the LockSpray source facilitates the introduction of an internal reference ion, or LockMass, at user specified intervals throughout the course of an unattended UPLC-MS/MS experiment. This class-leading technology avoids issues associated with post-column addition of a reference compound, such as ionization suppression and degradation of chromatographic performance; furthermore, LockSpray is a far more dependable solution than the use of transient background ions as an internal reference.
