Sample Submission
Prior to submitting a sample, please arrange for a consultation with Arthur Moseley or Will Thompson Samples will not be accepted without prior consultation.
Sample submission and data return from the Duke Proteomics Core Facility takes advantage of the IGSP data repository to return customer data in digital format. This submission and data return protocol uses the IGSPnet, which can be accessed by both Duke and non-Duke collaborators. Three steps are required to submit a sample to our facility:
- Create an IGSPnet account at https://igspnet.genome.duke.edu/createAcct.php (or log in to IGSPnet).
- Create an Express Data Repository Account (at https://discovery.genome.duke.edu/express/) and create a project where you would like your proteomics data to be delivered.
- When you are ready to submit your samples, fill out the sample submission form and email it to proteomics@duke.edu. Print a copy of the submission form and submit it with the samples to B02 Levine Science Research Center. Be sure to include the Express Project ID on the form.
Questions about creating an IGSPnet account, an Express account, or an Express project can be addressed to IGSP IT help at igsp-it@duke.edu or the IGSP IT website). Please contact the Proteomics Core with any other questions about sample submission. An email notification will be sent to the submitting scientist when the data has been delivered to your Express project.
