Real-Time PCR
The IGSP Sequencing Facility maintains an Applied Biosystems 7000 Sequence Detection System (RT-PCR) for use by the Duke community, as long as you have a Biology login. This instrument is cared for by Brian King, so contact him with questions.
The instrument is available 24/7, and must be reserved through dCal only. If you do not have a dCal account at Duke, you'll want one to use the 7000. You need to provide your own reagents and consumables, and instrument time costs $9/hour. Bring a flash drive to walk away with your data at the end of your run.
